My body melts to yours
As I lay there in your arms
Wondering where you are
I turn around to kiss your lips
And realize you’re not there again
I sit alone in air so thick
I try to breathe against my will
The wind blows in and brushes my face
I try to think what your touch was like
Before you left
Before you were never here
And I gazed upon the lit up sky
My heart slipped away with the setting sun
When I realized you were never here.
