Poems, January 2008:

One Hundred Cents-

Feigning rearrangement of one heart considered beating.
Swallowing the doorway heaving frozen sentiment.
Intimate in increments curled chewing throats like wire.
Pseudo grins rewound past forward picking darlings from the crowd.
Dusting fingerprints from fairy tale lips and don't you dare go chasing his grip.

Autograph-

Pressing my lips to coffee grounds
and smearing dirt through dancing crowds
Pushing rain back through my face
and trimming eyelids with your grace
Wading through the smoke of dusk
with lovers chaining tongues and tambourines
and chucking love like lipstick blisters
onto dumpster rust and hipster dust
then clutching skirts from once called la la land.

Ultimatum-

Cutting baby's breath like tempting sex and
laughing casually in a full body casts
High heels so low digging carpet from dirt
Sinister like dusty lust kept turning insides out and
twisting flesh to candy red.
